New Update on 12-07-2022: NEET Exam Pattern 2022 - Every year, the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (UG) is held to determine eligibility for admission to MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BUMS, and BHMS programmes, as well as other UG medical programmes. The NEET test is a pen-and-paper exam in which applicants must mark their answers on an OMR sheet. Each subject has two portions of the exam. The test has multiple-choice questions. NEET 2022 includes questions from the fields of physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology. It is critical to understand the exam pattern because it informs applicants about the amount of questions, duration of the exam, and marking scheme, among other things. What is the NEET Exam Pattern 2022?
NEE Exam Pattern 2022 is useful to understand that the exam will principally consist of 3 sections – Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology)
The paper will include multiple-choice questions.
1 mark will be deducted for every incorrect answer.
For each correct answer, 4 marks will be awarded.
45 questions are assigned to Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology, each.
The exam includes questions from Physics, Chemistry and Biology curriculum of class XI and XII. Both Physics and Chemistry sections have 45 questions each whereas, the Biology section has 90 questions divided into two sections uniformly i.e. Botany and Zoology.

Detailed Information about NEET Marking Scheme 2022
Each correct answer will award four marks.
One mark will deduct for every incorrect response.
No mark will deduct for the questions which have not been answered.
NEET 2022 Questions that have two or more responses marked on the OMR sheet will Consider as incorrect, and one mark will deduct for them.
What are the things to remember while marking the OMR sheet for NEET Exam 2022?
Candidates should have to be marked answers using a ballpoint pen, which will provide in the examination hall.
Changing answers on the OMR sheet is not allowed.
Erasing/ obliterating any details printed on the OMR sheet is a punishable offense.
Students to Rough work on the test booklet only.

What are the points to remember while choosing the medium of NEET Exam 2022?
The medium of NEET question paper has to be selected in the Application form.
The language chosen once cannot be changed.

Candidates opting for any other language will provide a Bilingual Test Booklet, their selected language preference, and English.
The English version of the NEET 2022 question paper shall be treated as final in case of any ambiguity in the translation of any of the questions.

NEET Score calculation 2022
For every correct answer, the applicant is awarded four marks, and for every incorrect answer, one mark is deducted.

Physics
Mechanics is the most crucial topic carrying maximum weightage.
From Electrodynamics, you can expect almost 9 to 10 questions.
Physics is the most challenging section of the NEET 2022 exam.
Most of the questions involve lengthy calculations.
It is imperative to remember all the Sections formulas.
Chemistry
Chemistry is regarded as the problematic section in the paper.
Over the years, application-based questions have increased in number.
In NEET 2019 more questions from the class 12 syllabus.
Organic Chemistry has gradually gained more prominence than Inorganic Chemistry, expect 16 to 17 questions from Organic Chemistry in the paper.
And few questions are formed, taking two different concepts together.
Biology
Biology Paper is relatively easier than the other two subjects.
Thus section paper includes 45 questions each from Botany and Zoology.
NEET 2019 saw more questions from class 12 syllabus, almost 46 out of 90.
The Maximum questions are asked from NCERT, so candidates should spend more time on that instead of reference books.
