Azaad Trailer Launch: Ajay Devgn On His Bond With Nephew Aaman Devgan: ‘Woh Mere Bete Jaisa Nahi…’

 Ajay Devgn’s nephew, Aaman Devgan and Raveena Tandon’s daughter, Rasha Thadani are making their acting debut with the film Azaad, the trailer of which was launched today.

Ajay Devgn, his nephew Aaman Devgan, Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha Thadani recently attended the trailer launch of their upcoming film ‘Azaad’. This film marks the debut of Aaman, and Rasha. During the trailer launch, Ajay Devgn expressed his deep connection to the project, and said that the film is ‘extremely special’ to him. He opened up about his bond with his nephew, and said that Aaman is not just like his son, he is truly a son to him.

During the trailer launch of Azaad, Ajay Devgn said, “Ye film mere liye kaafi maaino me special hai. First that iss film mein 2 naye bachche launch kiye jaa rahe hain. Both very talented. Ek jo meri colleague aur mere dost ki beti hai (Rasha Thadani). Aur ek Aaman, jo mere bete jaisa nahi, but beta hai. (This film is very special to me in many ways. First, because two new actors are being launched in it. Both are very talented. One is the daughter of my colleague and friend, and the other, Amaan, is not like my son, but he is my son)." He said both Rasha and Aaman have done great work in the film, and are very talented.

Ajay Devgn Praises Azaad Director Abhishek Kapoor

He also praised Azaad director Abhishek Kapoor, and said that he is known for launching new stars successfully. “Abhishek, who is known to launch new ‘stars’ I would say, not ‘kids’. And he has always been successful with that. And bohot patience hai isme naye logon ko…I won’t say ‘jhelne’ ka… but unko sawaarne ka. (He has a lot of patience for new people… I won’t say to tolerate them, but to nurture them). But they have done very well. All of them," said Ajay Devgn.

About Azaad

Azaad promises a gripping narrative set in pre-independence India. The film tells the story of a skilled horse rider, played by Ajay Devgn, who escapes the clutches of the brutal English army. The plot thickens as his horse goes missing, prompting him to embark on a daring mission with the help of a young boy, played by Aaman Devgan.

Meanwhile, Raveena Tandon’s daughter Rasha will play a character from a royal family and actress Diana Penty will essay the role of Ajay’s love interest.
